Great for Micro LoadingI have been using these adjustable weights for many years in the gym for micro loading. There are many lesser mortals like myself who do not do well making the incremental jumps that the weight stacks and cable machines in the gym afford us I.E. 5 lbs and 10 lbs at a shot . These wrist ankle weights allow me to control the load to as little as 1 4 lb at a time and even 1 5 lb for the 4lb pair 2lb per version . This allows for a slow steady relentless increase without nearly as much danger of injury for those who are patient enough to do so. While it is true that the cloth eventually wears down, they are extremely durable and last me for years. I have no qualms about making another replacement purchase which is what this is. Also in reference to the cloth wearing out, there are a few tips to extend the life 1...After using, make sure you lay them out to dry off the sweat to help keep the weights from rusting.
