Users can either exercise legs independently or simultaneously when seated. Heel plate pivots with pad for biomechanical correctness. Pillow block bolts are not fully tightened to allow for smoothest rotation possible. Pillow block bearings for a smooth movement. Good construction, came nearly assembled. Definitely from China but its well put together so far. The only reason i gave it 4 out of 5 is because its not the same quality as say Hammer Strength. That being said its definitely worth the money. The only other downside would be the gap between your foot and the top pad to lock it in tight is pretty big. you have to put your foot further in than i really want to as it take tenstion off the muscle at work somewhat. Howevre, its a pretty easy fix i think. Get something to increase the thickness of the pad at the store and then the machine will fit tighter closer to your toe instead of the top of your foot.
