Purchased this item for my son as part of his physical preparation for a rather demanding new job. Arrived promptly, in great condition. We screwed the end units into the door jam, using three screws for each end. Placed the bar inside the end pieces and twisted it into the appropriate length. This took us a few extra minutes because I kept shortening it when I would forgot which way to twist it by the 4th or 5th try, I finally figured it out . The bar is of good quality and is used daily, without issue, by a 5 7 160lb young man. I ve asked my son if he would recommend it and he said would you please leave me alone get out of my room which I took to mean yes, highly recommended
