What is the advantage of this TaylorMade 2018 Spider Tour Platinum Putter Double Bend?
Preferred hosel of Jason Day, Jon Rahm and Dustin Johnson, the small slant is a great fit for players who like to release the putter and have an arching putting stroke.
The double bend hosel is best fit for a player who prefers a straight back – straight through stroke.
A favorite by those who like a traditional blade hosel but like the performance of the Spider Tour. Best fit for those players who have an arching stroke but don t prefer a lot of toe-hang on their putter.
Like the double bend, this hosel is best fit for strokes that are straight back – straight through. The center shaft appeals to those players who like to align the ball directly with the putter shaft and the alignment line.
Spider Tour Platinum gives golfers style, stability, and a pure forward roll to help hold the intended line and find the bottom of the cup. A long single sightline and face balanced Weighting further improves alignment and promotes a clean strike, making every putt an opportunity to close out the hole.
Customer reviewsChrome plating on shaft will rust. VERY DISAPOINTED that TaylorMade Putters have no warranty.
Purchased this putter and the shaft developed pitted rust after only 4 months. I always take care of my clubs, wipe them down after use, never use them in the rain, and store them in a conditioned room. I called TaylorMade customer support and they informed me that putters are not warranted like their clubs are. In other words, their putters carry no warranty. I am really upset as I spent over 200 on this putter. They did not stand behind their warranty, and they use cheap chrome plating that is subpar. I will never buy anything from TaylorMade again.
