Other reviews are correct re quality, finish and ease of assembly but downgraded because of its design which puts the attachment point of the weight holder 12 from the rear pivot...but the center of the padded rests 22 from the pivot. Archimedes established that these relative distances from the pivot provide unhelpful leverage. Putting 500 of plates my current holdings on the plate holder literally results in only 275 of resistance under the pads not enough. A workable solution is to move the pads closer to the main pivot by bolting the far end of the pads only with one bolt through the inner hole, which moves the center of the pads forward to about 17 from the main pivot. Since you don t pull on the pads, this should present no problem. Moving the pads forward 5 forward to reduce that leverage, the same 500 now produces more than 350 of resistance to the user, much better.
