Saved me from what could have been a very serious injury.Great product all around. I bought it for the price point and because other people had said that it was well built and I have to agree. It s a quality piece of equipment and functions perfectly, I have been using it for nearly a year now. That said I need to get on to my title. Why do people buy power racks Safety. This rack just saved me from very serious injury this morning. I was trying to push my squat to a new personal best when my back simply had enough. Normally when I m going to fail a lift I can plan to gracefully bring myself down letting the barbell set down on the safety bars. Today was different, about 3 4 of the way through my lift my back simply gave out, I fell with over 200lbs on my shoulders, admittedly not a large amount of weight but enough to do a lot of damage had it fallen on top of me. The rack caught all the weight from a drop of about 3.5 feet before landing on the safety bars allowing me to fall free when I would have otherwise been crushed. This rack didn t so much as budge when the barbell landed and upon further inspection after the fact received no damage. I have always been budget minded in general and have heard horror stories of cheap equipment failing. I am very pleased to know that when I am recovered and go back to lifting again that I can have faith in this power rack to protect me exactly as it should. If you want peace of mind in your lifts I can t recommend this enough.
